A registered charity founded in 1993, we’re a loving home for hundreds of at-risk children. As a non-profit, we support Cambodia’s most vulnerable. Our higher education supports thousands, puts our kids through university, while supporting entire communities through schooling, infrastructure and aid.

Three decades after our founding, many of our first children now lead our programs.

Our Story

Founded on Love

In 1993, Geraldine Cox AM arrived in Cambodia and witnessed the devastating aftermath of the Khmer Rouge. Orphaned children roamed the streets with nowhere to go.

Built by Community

Unable to look away, she founded Sunrise Cambodia as a place where children could find safety, education, and love. Three decades later, many of those first children now lead our programs.
